Eugene, OR (KPTV) — A man wanted for a 2010 armed bank robbery in New York was arrested in Eugene at an Ultimate Frisbee tournament.

Eugene police said Jahson Marryshow, 31, was arrested at 5 p.m. Sunday in the area of 24th Avenue and Hilyard Street.

Marryshow was listed as one of the most wanted fugitives in Ulster County, NY, according to the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office website.

Investigators said he robbed a Bank of America there in 2010. Police said he had a gun, robbed the bank, stole a car and then burned down a barn.

At one point he was taken into custody following the bank robbery in New York, but officers said he was able to escape, flee the state and had not been heard from since.

Police received a tip that Marryshow was now living in Eugene.

Members of the Eugene Police Department Street Crimes Team and the U.S. Marshals Service worked to track him down. He was found Sunday participating in an Ultimate Frisbee tournament, according to Eugene police.

Officers said he made no attempt to escape. He was booked in the Lane County Jail as a fugitive from justice.
