Woman wanted for felony child abuse, neglect in Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach, Va. – Police are searching for a woman wanted for felony abuse and child neglect in Virginia Beach.

Johanne Leslie Busby, age 46, is wanted for several charges, including felony abuse and child neglect; two counts of larceny, third offense or subsequent offenses; felony revocation of a suspended sentence for grand larceny; and failure to appear in court.

Busby is described as 46 years old, 5 ‘ 8’’ tall, 170 pounds, brown eyes, with brown hair.

She has been known to frequent the 5700 block of Northampton Boulevard and the 100 block of Prince Hill Road in Virginia Beach as well as the 8400 block of Grove Avenue in Norfolk, police say.

Anyone with information regarding the location of Busby is encouraged to call Virginia Beach Crime Solvers at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP (1-888-562-5887) or by submitting a tip by texting “VBTIP” and the information to CRIMES (274637).

Tipsters remain anonymous and could be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward if their information leads to an arrest.
