Police vehicle involved in Norfolk crash

Norfolk, Va. – A Norfolk police vehicle was involved in a minor accident on Monday, police tell NewsChannel 3.

On August 18, 2014 shortly after 9:30 p.m., a Patrol Officer was operating a marked police vehicle near the intersection of Tidewater Drive and St. Julian Avenue.

The police vehicle was struck in the rear passenger side by a citizen’s vehicle.

There were no injuries to either party and the damage was minimal, police say.
