Newport News, Va. – Police are investigating after a man was found dead at a Motel 6 in Newport News.
The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Eric Vince Van Nostrand from Newport News.
Police arrived on scene in the 700 block of J. Clyde Morris Blvd around 6:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
Police say Nostrand was located in the parking lot suffering from injuries.
Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
