Man flown to hospital after flipping SUV in Suffolk

Suffolk, Va. – A man was flown by Nightingale to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital early Saturday morning after his SUV flipped several times on Nansemond Parkway.

Dispatchers received calls about the accident at 2:40am. Police say the Toyota 4Runner was traveling southbound in the 4500 block of the parkway when it left the roadway and flipped  multiple times.

The lone occupant, 25-year-old Stuart Walker of Portsmouth, was ejected from the vehicle.

He is currently at Sentara Norfolk General with non-life threatening injuries.
