Suffolk woman wanted for allegedly passing fake money at her job

Suffolk Police are looking for a woman who is accused of passing counterfeit U.S. currency.

Police say 38-year-old Chiquita Adams allegedly swapped U.S. currency for counterfeit bills on May 9th while employed at Bojangles on Bridge Road in Suffolk.

The bills were caught by management who immediately contacted police. None of the bills were passed on to customers.

Adams is wanted on eight felony counts of uttering a false bank note and one felony count of embezzlement.
