Virginia Beach, Va. – Starting at 7 a.m. on Sunday, July 27, Virginia Beach Public Utilities will be reactivating a water monitoring point on Northampton Boulevard at the intersection of Wesleyan Drive.
This water monitoring point was temporarily turned off during an intersection improvement project.
To safely facilitate this utility work, the following traffic changes will be in effect:
– Interstate 64 off ramp right lane on to Northampton Boulevard will be closed.
– Westbound Northampton Boulevard left turn lane to Wesleyan Drive will be closed.
– Northbound Wesleyan Drive right turn lane on to Northampton Boulevard will be closed.
Advanced warning signs will be posted advising motorists of the utility work. Weather permitting, repairs are expected to be completed by 4 p.m. on the same day.
