York County, Va. - A York County man already facing multiple child sex abuse charges has been hit with more charges involving a new victim.

Thomas George Seifert was charged with an additional 16 counts of Felony Child Sexual Abuse while in a Custodial Role, according to the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office.

Seifert initially faced four counts of taking indecent liberties with a child by a person in a custodial or supervisory relationship, and was charged with 10 more counts last week.

The 16 new charges come from one victim.

Deputies say Seifert sexually abused the boy for a couple of years starting when he was 15 through the age of 17.

Some of these new incidents allegedly occurred at the suspect’s residence located in the 500 block of Meadowfield Road and some allegedly occurred at the Edgehill Pool located in the 700 block of Cockletown Road.

The latest incidents allegedly occurred March 2011 and March 2013.

Seifert has served as an Assistant Troop Leader with the Boy Scouts for several years and has also volunteered and managed the Edgehill Pool snack bar for the last 5 years.

Over the years, he has volunteered for other youth organizations.
