Virginia Beach, Va. – On June 7, more than 175 volunteers cleaned Owls Creek during “Clean the Bay Day”, collecting the most debris (by weight) in one event, according to a post from the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center Facebook Page on July 7.

Approximately 200 bags of trash and recyclables were collected which resulted in 1,225 lbs. of trash and 505 lbs. of recycling, the post says.
