UPDATE: The suspect has been captured in Virginia Beach.

The search continues for a sailor accused of stabbing another sailor near Naval Medical Center Portsmouth at Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads’ Portsmouth Annex on Friday morning.

The suspect, Petty Officer 3rd Class Wilbur Harwell, is originally from Alabama, and works in electronics for the Navy. According to his Facebook page, he's served since 2010.

Back in 2011, he posted regularly about booze and heavy drinking. The photograph the Navy used is Harwell in front of a Russian poster urging restraint from alcohol.

That Facebook account hasn't been publicly updated since 2011, but then Harwell started using another account, posting other pictures. He looked bigger, more tattooed, with some of the ink in Russian.

His online biography shows he's lived in Newport News and Virginia Beach. A search of Hampton Roads courts shows he has no criminal record here.
