58-year-old woman beaten by group of men in Hampton

Hampton, Va. – Hampton police are asking for help after a 58-year-old woman was beaten by a group of men Monday night.

Police say the attack happened around 8:07pm at the intersection of Victoria Boulevard and Courtland Drive.

When officers arrived they found the woman, who said she had been sitting on the curb on the south side of Victoria Blvd. when 4-5 African American juveniles approached her from behind and began to beat her.

The group fled in different directions after knocking her to the ground.

The woman was treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries.
