Norfolk, Va-After 60 Years, She's Still Got It.  All American Girls Pro Baseball Player, Dolly Niemiec Konwinski Threw The First Pitch At The Tides Baseball Game This Afternoon.

Konwinski Was Just 16 Years Old When She Signed To Play In 1949. She Played For The Grand Rapids Chicks Until A Career Ending Accident In 1952.

"Well It Was The Most Wonderful Time In Our Lives Because We Used To Play With The Boys And Then When The Gals League Started We Had A Chance To Play Organized League Baseball Doing Exactly What We Love To Do."

Baseball Continues To Be A Highlight Of Her Life. The Infielder Was Inducted Into The National Baseball Hall Of Fame And Held A Role In The 1992 Film, A League Of Their Own.

During The Game, She Took Photos With Fans And Signed Her Captivating Autobiography, "Summertime Dreams- Yes... Girls Can Play Baseball"
