Man arrested for breaking and entering in Dare County

A Colington man is now behind bars after deputies charged him with breaking and entering in Dare County.

On May 26, 2014, the Dare Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported Breaking and Entering at a home in Baum Bay.

A deputy responded and began an investigation.

The victim reported that a significant number of items were taken.

Deputies found the stolen items and located the suspect.

Deputies arrested 34-year-old James Morris Rose, III of Colington. He is charged with breaking and entering (felony), larceny after breaking and entering (felony), and possession of stolen property (felony).

Rose has been committed to the Dare County Detention Center in lieu of $54,000 bond.
