Suffolk, Va. – Two people had to be rushed to the hospital on Friday after a head-on collision in Suffolk.
Police say this happened at around 6:39 p.m. at the
intersection of Manning Road and Copeland Road.
They say a white Ford overturned and the man inside was airlifted to Sentara Norfolk General. They say his injuries were non-life threatening.
A woman was driving the second vehicle involved, which was a Jeep Liberty. She had to be extricated from the Jeep and she was also taken to Sentara Norfolk General with what police say are non-life threatening injuries.
A portion of the road had to be closed for hours as crews worked to clear the accident.
