Virginia Beach, Va. – Traffic will be affected Sunday on South Independence Boulevard near the intersection of Bonney Road while repairs are made to a sewer force main. Northbound traffic will be reduced to three lanes just prior to the intersection of Bonney Road. Advanced warning signs will be posted advising motorists of the lane closures.
Repairs are scheduled to start at approximately 7:00 a.m. and are expected to be completed on the same day. The Sunday repair date was selected to minimize impacts to traffic flow.
