Man shot in Norfolk

Norfolk, Va. – A man was shot in Norfolk last night, police tell NewsChannel 3.

On Monday morning, April 28, 2014, at 8:30 a.m., a call came into the Emergency Operations Center (911) for a gunshot victim in the 5700 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd.

Norfolk Police and Fire Rescue responded and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries.

The victim told police he was shot sometime last night.

Norfolk Police Detectives are currently investigating the incident.
