Isle of Wight, Va. -  The body pulled from the water near the Sidney Hazel Wood Bridge on Friday night has been identified as 25-year old Amanda McPhee.

McPhee's family says she will be missed dearly.

Isle of Wight deputies say she died Friday night on the Sidney Hazel Wood Bridge off Route 17. The bridge was shut down as Virginia State Police and Isle of Wight investigated.

Deputies believe McPhee, who was in the car with her fiancé, jumped out of the moving car and fell of the bridge into shallow water where she died. Her mother told NewsChannel 3 she just doesn't understand.

But on Easter Sunday the family wants to take the focus away from the accident and onto who Amanda was.

Her fiancé released this statement, saying, "she was immensely loved by all and touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She will be missed dearly as the happy, positive, cheerful, encouraging wonderful woman she is."
