Two people were arrested in Courtland Saturday afternoon after fleeing from the scene of a vehicle crash they had been involved in.

According to the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office, a caller notified dispatch just before 8:00 a.m. that there had been a vehicle crash on Southampton parkway near Medicine Springs Road. The caller said she stopped to check on the occupants and they had asked her for a ride away from the scene.
