Virginia Beach, Va. - Ann Watson is desperate for answers in the death of her 19-year-old son, Keshmario Middleton. “I have four other kids; they really looked up to him.”

He was a big brother getting ready to graduate from Bayside High School this summer, but Mario was one of three people hit by gunfire this weekend in two separate shootings in the Lake Edwards neighborhood.

The 19-year-old died on Barrison Way.

“I'm just ready for him to walk through the door at any time even though I know it's not going to happen.”

Watson says Mario was supposed to be at a party in the area. But with no witnesses coming forward, police don't know who killed him yet. Officers did charge 21-year-old Ladarius Stieff with shooting two men on Margate Ave. the night before.

They haven't said if that shooting is in any way related to the one on Barrison Way less than seven hours later.

Watson doesn't seem to think so.

“My son was at the wrong place at the wrong time,” says Watson.

She believes someone out there witnessed what happened and she's begging them to come forward.

“Please, if they do know anything about my son’s, death, please, please come forward,” says Watson.
