Marietta, SC (WHNS) — A Marietta woman said she told her husband she won the lottery and then told him she was just joking.

She did win $100,000 on a scratch off CASHTA$TIC ticket on Friday, but she wanted to have a little fun before she let her husband in on the news, according to a news release from the South Carolina Education Lottery.

“He jokes with me all the time, saying he won big playing Powerball,” she explained.
After she’d had enough fun playing with her husband’s emotions, lottery officials said she showed him the winning ticket.

“I about had a heart attack,” he said.

The lucky lady purchased the winning ticket from the Spinx station at 7853 White Horse Road in Greenville.

Lottery officials said three $100,000 prizes still remain in the CASHTA$TIC game. The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 480,000, officials said.
