Norfolk, Va. - A mother is still trying to cope after her teen daughter was shot and killed.

"She was shot, the bullet went through the left side of her head and went through her brain," Bridgette Wiggins told NewsChannel 3.

She still can't believe that her 18-year-old daughter, Tyquisha Craig, was shot to death after a fight broke out at a Norfolk house party, and that police still don't know who killed her.

"I wouldn`t want anyone to go through what I`m feeling right now," she added.

"Quita" was one of seven people who were shot in Norfolk last weekend and she was the only one who was killed.

Nine-year-old Amari Blout was also a victim of the violence. Someone shot him in the leg while he was at a playground on Walke Street.

"I just hear a lot of gun shots and then I started running," Amari told NewsChannel 3.

And once again, police don't have any suspects, nor do they think any of the shootings are related.

NewsChannel 3 reached out to officers, and they told us they're still investigating, but have no suspect details in any of the shootings from last weekend.

However, Wiggings is convinced someone knows something about her daughter's death.

"The issue about the shootings over the weekend is that so many people seeing them, and how can you not know who shooting when you`re in an enclosed environment?"  she said.

As for this weekend, police tell NewsChannel 3 they'll be patrolling all areas where the shootings happened.

But, Wiggins won't have closure until officers arrest the person who murdered her daughter.

"I don`t want another mother to feel what I`m feeling. I just want the cycle to stop. I bet you on everything it`s going to stop because I`m not going to stop until they get who did this to my daughter," she said.
