Roof catches fire at Norfolk business

Norfolk, Va. – The roof of a Norfolk business caught fire Wednesday afternoon, officials tell NewsChannel 3.

The call came in at 12:10 p.m. Crews responded to the 700 block of Fishermans Road. The caller reported smoke coming from the roof area.

The fire was put out within 10 minutes.

No injuries have been reported.

Investigators are working to determine the causes of the fire.

Workers were on the roof prior to the fire.
