It's being called the largest phone scam in IRS history and people are still falling for it!

A government watchdog says fake IRS agents have targeted more than 20,000 taxpayers.

As part of the scam, the phony agents call taxpayers and say they owe taxes then demand payment.

They threaten things like arrest or deportation for those who don't pay up.

Remember, real IRS officials typically reach out by mail first, rather than phone and they and don't demand immediate payment by debit card, credit card or wire transfer.
