Post season play: It's a familiar place for the Old Dominion Lady Monarchs. They will play their second season for the 23rd time in the past 25 years.

"It's exciting. It's an award for a coach and player to be playing this time of year," Head Coach Karen Barefoot told us before practice. "We worked hard throughout the whole year and we finished strong."

Becca Allision added that she is really excited to play again at the Ted and they are ready to take it for long haul.

First game up is the Midshipmen of Navy, the Patriot League regular season champions.

This is an opponent that the coach says is very good.

"They are a tough team, a great shooting team. They are well-coached. For us it will come down to the four E's: We will need good effort, we got to have good enthusiasm, we have to have good energy and we will need to execute."

For red shirt senior Becca Allison, she only knows one approach to the game: "Win at all costs. We just want to keep playing. We want a ring at the end of it."

The journey starts Thursday night at the Ted.
