Norfolk, Va. - Old Dominion's Jarod Brown is no stranger to the word 'pressure'. On Tuesday, it was Pro-Day - a day to show NFL scouts you have what it takes to make it in the NFL. Kevin Rafferty caught up with Jarod before he took to the field.

"Just stay consistent, the leg strength is there and has always been there," Jarod Brown said before he would show off his right leg to 18 NFL scouts at Pro-Day. "Consistency is the key in the NFL. If you can get it there that is fine, but if you can't make it, that's another thing."

NewsChannel 3 asked Jarod if he was nervous - he said no. He says this is like any other game or any other time he has been out. "It's just another day," according to Brown, "we are out here showing people what we got."

What Brown has is a leg, and he showed it in a game against the Pittsburgh Panthers. He kicked a 54 yard field goal - the longest kick in Heinz field history by a collegiate or professional kicker.

"People always talk about it probably more than I would like," Brown said. "But it is a pretty cool thing."

What many people forget is his game winning 25 yard boot that helped the Monarchs defeat the Norfolk State Spartans in the battle of Norfolk 27 to 24.

Brown created a video to show potential employers his leg strength and accuracy. A business card of the sorts.

He leaves Old Dominion as the career leader in points with 380. What he will remember most? His game day. "The feeling walking out on Foreman Field before a game day."
