Newport News, Va. – A man was hospitalized with potentially life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the intersection of 74th and Jefferson Ave.
The accident happened around 8:30pm.
According to police, video from a nearby business shows a white pickup truck traveling on 74th towards Jefferson, where it struck the man in the intersection and dragged him for a short distance as it made a right turn.
The truck was last seen traveling north bound on Jefferson Avenue. There is no description of the driver.
