Temporary 2

9PM WEDNESDAY: Much of northeastern North Carolina, the Southside and the Eastern Shore will have rain falling with temperatures climbing into the mid-to-upper 30s. Sleet and rain will be mixing with snow across the lower Peninsula and down route 58 toward Suffolk and Franklin. Heavy, wet snow will likely still be falling and accumulating in James City County, Gloucester County, Middlesex County and the Northern Neck.

Temporary 3

MIDNIGHT: All areas will be transitioned to a chilly rain, including Williamsburg and Gloucester. Snow will start to melt away. Expect wind gusts higher than 30 mph. Power outages will be an increasing threat.

Temporary 4

6AM THURSDAY: A chilly, blowing rain will greet Thursday morning commuters. Some low-lying areas will begin to flood, thanks to a stiff northeast wind and a nearly full moon. High tide times are from around 6:30 AM to the south to 9:30 AM to the north.

Temporary 5

3PM THURSDAY: Rainfall will be more scattered, with temperatures in the low-to-mid 40s. Winds will have shifted to the north and northwest.

Temporary 6

9PM THURSDAY: As the system exits, we could see some snow showers return briefly. Some light accumulation is possible as chilly air comes rushing in behind the storm
