NFL player, Habitat for Humanity partner to renovate Suffolk house for family

NFL linebacker LaRoy Reynolds of the Jacksonville Jaguars is working with Habitat for Humanity of South Hampton Roads and several volunteers to renovate a house for a family in Suffolk this Saturday.

LaRoy joins the morning show today, along with Habitat's Executive Director, Wayne Lavender.

LaRoy is a Norfolk native, Maury High School grad, and played football at UVA. He signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent last year.

Mission statement of Humanity of South Hampton Roads:

"Habitat for Humanity engages the South Hampton Roads community in creating opportunities for qualified families to achieve independence and stability by purchasing affordable homes. We serve all seven geographical entities that comprise South Hampton Roads: Chesapeake, Isle of Wight, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Smithfield, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach."
