Cygnus cargo module arrives at Wallops Island in preparation for May launch

Wallops Island, Va. – A giant Antonov cargo plane landed at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility today, carrying part of the Cygnus cargo module that will be launched from Wallops on May 1.

The Pressurized Cargo Module (PCM) that arrived will be joined with a Cygnus service module and launched aboard an Antares rocket to the International Space Station.
