Right now, crews are working on secondary roads, Gwaltney says. More than 90 pieces of equipment came into Norfolk from across the state to assist with snow and ice removal.

Norfolk Public Works crews worked overnight removing snow from primary roads. Packed ice and snow remain on roads that are cleared.
The City of Norfolk has used more than 200 tons of sand and 150 tons of salt to treat the roads.
