WILLIAMSBURG, VA – Check out the game highlights from William and Mary men’s basketball’s
thrilling 68-66 win at Drexel on Saturday. Trailing by one point with 8.1
seconds left, junior guard Marcus Thornton went the length of the court and
knocked down the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer to propel the Tribe to the
victory. W&M scored the opening 10 points of the second half to rally from a
nine-point halftime deficit, and then used an 11-point spurt to rebound from a
seven-point deficit midway through the second half.
