Virginia Beach, Va. - Police are searching for three men wanted in a home invasion robbery in the 900 block of Fern Ridge Road.

On Monday, police say two men forced a mother into her home at gunpoint and demanded money while a third man remained outside acting as a lookout.

“I was told that when she came home from work two black males jumped her in the driveway at gunpoint and took her in the house, separated her and her baby, and put her on the floor at gunpoint,” said one of the woman’s neighbors, Ed Nichols.

Neighbors say during the robbery the woman’s husband came home and was also held at gunpoint. NewsChannel 3 learned the suspects separated the parents from their baby, put a pot of water on the stove and threatened to poor boiling water on the infant if they did not cooperate.

Neighbors also say the men kept asking about “the drugs and money,” even punching holes in the walls, pulling out insulation looking for something. After the suspects had no luck, neighbors say the mother made a plea.

“She asked them if she could give them jewelry or something she had got for Christmas, they took that and the keys off their key rings and fled,” said Nichols.

Police say the men took off in a silver or light gray colored early 2000’s model Acura TL with faded paint and a sunroof.

The first man (pictured) is believed to be in his early to mid-20’s, 5’7”-5’9”, 175-200 pounds with short hair.  He was wearing a black sweatshirt, with a white design on the front, and black jeans. He had gold or silver fronts on his teeth.
