A 27-year-old Norfolk woman, Kenna Haight, has been indicted in federal court after she was accused of stalking a University of Missouri-Kansas City instructor by sending a series of threatening emails that mentioned mutilation, torture and murder.
According to The Kansas City Star, Haight was arrested on Thursday on a sealed cyberstalking indictment.
They say she sent more than 100 emails to the instructor between September of 2012 and Wednesday. The Kansas City Star says she identifies herself on her Facebook page as a former nursing student who left after she was accused of falsifying medical records.
The Kansas City Star also says Haight claimed the instructor made changes in her class schedule that ruined her life. She accused the instructor of somehow being responsible for a sexual assault she suffered, this is according to an indictment.
