Chesapeake, Va. – During this time of year, the spirit of giving is important to all. This year is no different for Solid Rock Worldwide Outreach Ministries as they host their annual “Turkey Trailer Drive”. With 500 families registered, the church was more than prepared to provide dinner for the masses.
For 5 years, the Turkey Trailer Drive has supplied local families with Thanksgiving dinner staples that make dinner around the table with family and friends very special. Baskets were filled with such holiday dinner ingredients such as cranberry sauce, stuffing mix, greens and much more!
Families were asked to start lining up at 9:30AM to receive their thanksgiving baskets from the church group. The event took place at the Cedar Tree Inn & Suites on 271 Conference Center Drive.
