Armed robbery at Big Lots in York County

Grafton, Va. – Deputies in York County are searching for a man who robbed a Big Lots Sunday night.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the robbery happened around 8:15 p.m. at the Big Lots on George Washington Memorial Highway, located in the Heritage Square Shopping Center.

A man wearing a ski mask walked into the store armed with a semi-automatic pistol and demanded money from a store clerk.

There were customers inside at the time, but no one was injured.

Once he had the money, he took off on foot.

The Sheriff’s Office says they had three units at the scene within two minutes, but they were unable to find the man.
