19-year-old detained after argument leads to gunfire in McDonald’s parking lot
Newport News, Va. – A 19-year-old man is being detained after police say there was a family feud in the parking lot of the McDonald’s on Warwick Blvd. Monday night.
They say two employees who worked at the McDonald’s got into an argument with each other and each person called family members out to the restaurant.
When the family members arrived, a fight broke out in the parking lot police say.
They say the 19-year-old took out a gun and fired it into the McDonald’s.
No one was injured police tell NewsChannel 3.
Police were able to locate the 19-year-old and he has been detained. They expect to charge him with firing into an occupied dwelling.
