Accomack County, Va. - Tonya Bundick, one of the suspects accused in the Accomack County arson investigation, has been in jail for almost five months. Now a judge says she can pay $30,000 to get out.

This is the same judge who previously denied Bundick bond.

"She should be held accountable for what she did, 'cause she knew what she was doing," says Barber Lee, a resident.

"I'm sorry but I don't think she should have gotten any bond," says Bonnie Henderson, another resident in the area.

From November to April, more than 70 arsons were set in Accomack County.

Tonya Bundick and Charles Smith were arrested in April shortly after a fire was set on airport drive in Melfa.

Both were charged and investigators say Smith admitted to his involvement in the arsons. He told officials his fiancée, Bundick, was with him.

Earlier this month, Bundick was indicted on one count of arson and conspiracy to commit arson.

Smith is facing nearly 70 counts of arson.

Now Smith is still in jail without bond. Bundick is not allowed to leave Accomack or Northampton counties as one of the conditions of her bond.

The only exception is that Bundick can travel to Norfolk next month for her son’s eye surgery.

So far, Bundick hasn't paid up so she's still in jail tonight.
