Virginia Beach, Va. - Months ago, someone spray painted graffiti throughout the complex, stole copper piping and then tried burning one of the buildings at the Plaza Little League Park.

“It breaks my heart,” says 10-year-old Plaza Little League outfielder Jonathan Beebe.

It stopped for a while, but recently it started up again with blue graffiti.

“Coming down here and looking at all the wreckage and stuff that they did makes me lose. It discourages me to have all the fun I want to have,” says Beebe.

It's costing the league's board members thousands as they're the ones picking up the bill.

“We don`t have the funds, but we`ll find a way to raise them. We almost don`t have a choice. We have to keep it going at Plaza Little League,” says Ann Beebe, a board member.

“It just breaks my heart that they have to put out so much money to fix this building that they don't have enough money left to buy us new uniforms,” says Beebe.

NewsChannel 3 asked police what they knew when the vandalism first started and they said they didn't have any leads.

But, for Jonathan, he's not letting all the vandalism stop him from playing the game he loves.

“When I go out on the field, I try really hard to forget about the graffiti and the vandalism that`s all over this complex here and I focus on what I`m doing, and what I should do when the ball comes to me, who should I throw it to, who`s running. Anything but the vandalism,” says Jonathan.
