Portsmouth, Va. – Police are now investigating after they say a man robbed the Food Lion on Portsmouth Blvd. on Thursday.
They say a man went up to the cashier, implied he had a weapon and demanded that the employee open the cash register. Police say he reached into the register and grabbed the money.
Police think he may have left in a vehicle.
