Virginia Beach, Va. - Ronnie Robins had a car destroy the front of his house, and all the sailor can think about is how thankful he is his wife made peach cobbler.

Robins left the house to get ice cream for the cobbler.

Had he not, he and his four-year-old daughter would have been inside her playroom, a room that took the brunt of the crash.

"I went to go get ice cream and yeah I could have been in there 'cause that was usually my 360 time to play XBox," Robins said.

He had left just two minutes before the crash. His wife and daughter were in a back room.
He came home to see the car had somehow backed in to his home

"It was a one in a million shot of how it happened," Robins said.

The car lodged itself in between Robins' house on Bound Brook Court and his wife's car.

"I don't know how that car got like that," Robins said. "It was touching bumper to bumper."

Robins says there was a pregnant woman inside the crashed car. She was taken to the hospital and faces charges in the crash. Police say she the accident happened after she allegedly argued with and assaulted her boyfriend, then got into her car and accelerated out of her driveway, losing control and hitting the house.

The home suffered significant damage.

"For me they are just things. I can replace them. We can rebuild, but as for my wife and little girl, we can't rebuild. This isn't six million dollar man or anything," Robins said.
