Photographer captures video of rare pink aurora over Crater Lake


On May 31st, a minor but unexpected magnetic storm from the Sun reached Earth, triggering aurora displays across the northern U.S. Photographer Brad Goldpaint captured this stunning time-lapse video of a rare pink aurora over Crater Lake in Oregon.
