Williamsburg, Va- While parts of Hampton Roads remained relatively dry during Tropical Storm Andrea's visit, she drenched Williamsburg and James City County Friday afternoon.

Torrential downpours at times hit parts of Williamsburg and the Colonial Parkway, filling up ditches and spilling into the roadways.

The intersection of Route 199 and Brookwood Drive flooded, sending water flying as cars made their way through.

Cranston's Mill Pond Road in James City County had to be closed after it flooded.

The entrance to the Springfield Terrace neighborhood in Williamsburg also flooded, with several yards filled with water.

A tree in the neighborhood also snapped on Oakmont Circle, falling just inches away from a house and two parked cars.
