Cassandra Brooks is a PhD student from Stanford who is studying international ocean policy, particularly focusing on marine protection in the Antarctic. She is currently blogging for National Geographic from a National Science Foundation research cruise in the Ross Sea, Antarctica. She shot and narrated this amazing video that compressed two months of life aboard an ice-breaker down into a 4:45 clip:
