Update: Marvin Love was located unharmed at 25th Street and Marshall Avenue shortly after 8:00 a.m. this morning.

Newport News, Va. – Police are searching for a man who they say disappeared from his home in an assisted living facility on Wednesday.

Police are searching for Marvin Lee Love, who was last seen by a staff member at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Hilton Plaza Assisted Living Facility. That’s in the 300 block of Main Street, where he resides.

Police were notified at approximately 12:36 a.m. Thursday morning, May 2.

Marvin Lee Love is described as a black male, 5’8 tall, weighing about 164 pounds with black and grey hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue jean jacket, faded blue jeans and grey sneakers. Love suffers from dementia, police say.
