A 15 year-old girl was arrested Friday for calling in bomb threats to Oscar Smith Middle and High Schools, according to the Chesapeake Fire Department.

She has also been charged in connection with a suspicious package that was found at an apartment complex on Linster Street last Wednesday.

Nothing hazardous found in the package.

Investigators say later that same day, bomb threats were called into Oscar Smith Middle School and Oscar Smith High School. No explosives were found in either school.

Investigators say they were able to determine that all three calls were made from the same phone.

The 15 year-old girl has been charged with three counts of Communicating a Bomb Threat. Each charge is a Class 5 felony.

She is being held at Chesapeake Juvenile Services.
