Police say 34-year-old Jeremiah Wallman and 34-year-old Robert Bishop tased and robbed an elderly Chesapeake man at his home. The stolen belongings were found just hours later when officers responded to a fight between the two men.

The victim tells NewsChannel 3 that Wallman and Bishop came to his house off Ferndale Drive Monday afternoon, dressed as construction workers.

The man says he was tased, hit and threatened with knives. He says Bishop and Wallman ransacked his home, taking off with several of his watches, knives and a coin collection.

Police say Bishop and Wallman ended up about a mile away the Budget Lodge on South Military Hwy.

An argument broke out over their new loot and that's when police say Wallman beat Bishop repeatedly over the head.  A person with them called police.

When officers got there, they found the stolen items.

Bishop was sent to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries and charged with one count of burglary and robbery.

Police are still looking for Wallman. He is charged with burglary, robbery and malicious wounding.

Wallman is no stranger to run-ins with the law. In 1998, he was convicted of malicious wounding and in 2010 was convicted of burglary. Both crimes were committed in Portsmouth, where police say he lives.
