Update: One killed in scooter accident in Virginia Beach

Shipps Corner and London Bridge, Virginia Beach, Va.

Update: The fatal accident at London Bridge Road and Shipps Corner is now clear, and the intersection is open to all traffic. 

Virginia Beach, Va. – Virginia Beach police responded to a fatal accident involving a scooter at 11:32 a.m. Tuesday morning.

According to Jimmy Barnes of the Virginia Beach Police Department, it happened in the 1300 block of London Bridge Road near Shipps Corner Road.

Two vehicles and a scooter were involved.
