Update: Man charged in MacArthur Center stabbing incident
Update: Police say they have now charged Leedente Brown of the 3600 Blk. King Street in Portsmouth with malicious wounding after a man was stabbed in MacArthur Center on Monday.
Norfolk, Va. – Norfolk police are investigating a stabbing at MacArthur Center where a man was stabbed following an argument over a woman.
It happened around 1 p.m. on the second floor near the Solstice Sunglasses store.
They say mall security responded to the incident within seconds.
The suspect allegedly stabbed his friend during an argument over a woman according to Norfolk police.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He is expected to be OK.
The suspect was taken into custody and the woman involved is also in custody for questioning only.
