Newport News police need help in finding endangered man
Newport News, Va. – Newport News police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing and endangered man.
Police say Michael Ruff, 50, was last seen on February 10 at 26th Street and Jefferson Avenue. A family member reported him missing on February 28.
Mr. Ruff is described as being 5’7″ tall, weighing about 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
We’re told he suffers from several serious medical conditions and is believed to be homeless. He normally keeps his scheduled appointments but he hasn’t done so since December.
