Nearly a million students home due to weather closings
Nearly one million public school students are home from school today because of weather.
More than 900,000 students in school districts of Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland, and Ohio didn’t go to school.
The numbers are from major districts only, and do not include many smaller districts in the storm-affected area.
